Protectiflex, LLC is a one-stop shop providing innovative and cost-effective concrete-like material solutions for clients who need to meet security, natural hazard resilience and/or industrial safety design requirements. With our three product options - shotcrete, concrete, or masonry - ProtectiFlex products will give you the peace of mind that you are protected, no matter the circumstance.
ProtectiFlex products are suitable for new or retrofit construction and can be developed for various applications including façade systems, shielding, tunnels, anti-ram systems, fully-integrated modular systems and more.
Product Types
ProtectiFlex products use a proprietary technology combining recycled non-biodegradable material, composite fibers and/or rebar in a cement matrix. They can be manufactured in a batching plant using conventional equipment and sprayed, poured or cast. This adaptability provides a cost-effective solution in a wide range of architectural finishes resembling traditional concrete.
Shotcrete
ProtectiFlex® Shotcrete can be spray applied onto buildings, walls and other structures, adding a layer of defense to pre-existing structures. This is a viable, cost-effective solution. As your needs change, so can your protection.
Concrete
ProtectiFlex® Concrete is utilized either as a precast or cast-in-place application. It is versatile, with the ability to be used in monolithic, composite modular or pumped composite systems.
Masonry
ProtectiFlex® Masonry blocks are similar in shape, size and function to regular masonry blocks, but with the added advantage of bringing an extra level of safety to your structures.

Tough
Protection of people and critical assets are the primary objectives of ProtectiFlex products. The designs prevent bullet penetration, reduces spalling and is able to absorb large amounts of energy without diminishing its structural integrity.
One Solution
ProtectiFlex products offer a single material solution for the diverse effects from Blast, Ballistic & Fragmentation, Weapon Effects, Forced Entry, High Wind Debris Impact, Fire and Seismic loads. In contrast, conventional concrete and masonry material products used for high threat environments are dense, brittle and lack enhanced damping characteristics.
Lightweight
The base material of ProtectiFlex systems is 30% less dense than concrete with enhanced energy absorbing characteristics, resulting in lighter, thinner structures that are faster to build, cheaper and more usable.
Flexible
Protectiflex products are more than 100 times as flexible as concrete and has 20 times the strain capacity of traditional concrete before failure.
Eco-Friendly
ProtectiFlex products are created from recycled materials, uses less energy to manufacture, is sustainable and non-biodegradable.
Cost-Effective
ProtectiFlex products are designed to utilize existing construction implementation practices in the masonry, cast-in-place and precast concrete industries. Our concrete-like material can be treated like true concrete during manufacturing with no retooling necessary, allowing a wider variety of applications.

Rigorous Testing & Accreditations
ProtectiFlex designs or products have undergone rigorous testing and has earned numerous blast, ballistic and fire accreditations:
Blast Testing conducted simulating car bomb explosions in accordance with blast testing methodologies and performance guidelines referenced in DoD, GSA, ISO, CPNI and UK Home Office Standards and Reports.
Blast Testing conducted simulating hand-carried bomb explosions at close-range.
Weapon Effects Testing from various projectiles.
NIJ-STD-0108.01 and UL 752 Ballistic Testing and Accreditation to all levels for various thicknesses and mix designs.
Ballistic Testing also carried out in accordance with methodologies and guidelines provided in the BS EN1063:2000 and BS EN1522 Standards.
2 Hour Fire Testing and Rating in accordance to the BS EN 1364-1 2015 Standard.
