CREATING THE ‘SHHH’
Protectiflex and Flexiroc technology is leading a groundbreaking University of New South Wales project in Australia to develop an innovative sustainable noise barrier. Protectiflex LLC Vice President and Flexiroc Australia MD, Gary Bullock, will head up the project that aims to design and manufacture these novel absorptive noise barriers using waste glass and end-of-life tires by mid-2023. With Tyre Stewardship Australia and major Infrastructure contractor John Holland Group poised to showcase the innovative noise wall on rail and highway infrastructure projects, this project supports the development of new products for the Australian and International markets.
