Concrete Reinvented

ProtectiFlex® Concrete can be used in multiple scenarios, formats and locations. ProtectiFlex Concrete is the perfect substitute for regular concrete, with the added benefit of blast and ballistic protection. It has you covered for monolithic , composite modular and pumped composite concrete.

Creation of ProtectiFlex® Concrete

ProtectiFlex Concrete was developed in the US in 2016 and extensively tested in its various forms for both blast and ballistic protection at the Stone OBL test facility in Oregon, USA. The pumped ProtectiFlex Composite System was further developed and successfully tested at Australia’s National Facility for Physical Blast Simulation (NFPBS) in 2019. The system is the backbone of a very significant defence and security project in the Middle East.

Precast or Cast-in-Place

Precast

Protectiflex has successfully developed a precast form which resembles typical precast concrete panels. This technology can be cast in a wide range of architectural finishes, both for new construction and retrofit applications. The precast application of this technology allows the product to be utilized for extreme loading protection either as a:

·       Monolithic System

·       Composite Modular System

·       Pumped Composite Concrete

Cast-in-Place

Protectiflex has successfully developed a cast-in-place product for onsite construction which has all of the properties - and more - of traditional concrete. This technology can be cast in a wide range of architectural finishes for extreme loading protection as a:

·       Monolithic System

·       Pumped Composite Concrete

Versatility at your Fingertips

Each of the above systems utilizes ProtectiFlex’s proprietary technology. ProtectiFlex® Concrete has extra flexibility, allowing it to deflect without permanent deformation.
