Blast Testing

Shock Tube Testing and Performance validation of the ProtectiFlex Pumped Composite Concrete system was conducted at the Australia National Facility for Physical Blast Simulation (NFPBS).

The blast simulation tests demonstrated that the ProtectiFlex Composite concrete wall system provided acceptable performance in a variety of peak reflected pressures and durations, with no sign of delamination, major damage or large permanent deformation, which shows a strong bonding between the protective face and protected face of the system.
