Protectiflex and Flexiroc technology is leading a groundbreaking University of New South Wales project in Australia to develop an innovative sustainable noise barrier. Protectiflex LLC Vice President and Flexiroc Australia MD, Gary Bullock, will head up the project that aims to design and manufacture these novel absorptive noise barriers using waste glass and end-of-life tires by mid-2023.

Announcement on Force Protection Engineering (FPE) Conference Innovation
Gary Bullock, MD of Flexiroc Australia Pty Ltd and Vice President of Protectiflex, LLC together with Professor Alex Remennikov, University of Wollongong – National Facility for Physical Blast Simulation (NFPBS) will be attending the Force Protection Engineering (FPE) conference hosted by Australian Army 19th Chief Engineer Works in November 2020.
They will provide a technical presentation on the development of ProtectiFlex both as a pumped composite panel form and as a shotcrete applied to masonry walls. This presentation focuses on the blast loading, observed damage, and deflection results recorded during these two test programs, which demonstrated the superior performance of ProtectiFlex in blast protection and the advantages of using the large-scale blast simulation facility for the research and development of new protective materials.
